Beer by the mob

US-based MobCraft Beer is turning to the wisdom of the crowds for its beer-brewing operation. The company is planning to launch a new beer on a monthly basis, with the product based on crowdsourced opinion.

MobCraft will collect initial ideas for beers and then use a ‘crowdsourcing popularity algorithm’ which leans on data from the likes of Facebook, Twitter and blogs. A collection of possible brews will be put to MobCraft online vote and the final beers will be produced by microbrewery House Of Brews.
